TapTot is made for toddlers, by a parent. We built this app because we wanted a safe, ad-free place for our own child to play โ and that means taking privacy seriously.
Our promise is simple: we do not collect, store, share, or sell any personal information about you or your child.
No accounts. No tracking. No advertising. No analytics about your child's activity. Nothing.
This Privacy Policy explains what that means in detail, and what limited information the app does handle (all stored locally on your device).

To be absolutely clear, TapTot does not collect, transmit, or store any of the following:
TapTot does not require an account, login, or registration of any kind. You can use the entire app without providing any personal information.
TapTot does store some information, but only on your device. This information never leaves your phone and is never transmitted to us or any third party.

This local data is deleted automatically if you uninstall the app. You can also delete it manually by clearing the Tot Card or resetting the app in Settings.
TapTot is designed for children under 13, and we take the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) very seriously.
We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. The app is designed to function entirely without collecting or transmitting any data about the child using it.
If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us immediately at heeho@yourlobster.tech and we will take prompt action to investigate and delete any such information.
TapTot uses a small number of third-party services that are necessary for the app to function. We have chosen these services carefully to minimize data collection.
If you subscribe to TapTot, your subscription is processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple handles all payment information โ we never see your credit card, billing address, or Apple ID. Apple's privacy practices are governed by their own privacy policy: apple.com/legal/privacy
We use RevenueCat to verify subscription status and manage the subscription lifecycle. RevenueCat receives a randomly generated anonymous user ID from your device (not linked to your name, email, or Apple ID) and your subscription status. RevenueCat does not receive any information about your child or your use of the app. Their privacy policy is available at: revenuecat.com/privacy
That's it. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook SDK, Firebase, Mixpanel, or any other analytics or advertising services. We do not embed third-party content, ads, or trackers of any kind.
TapTot contains no advertising of any kind. We do not display ads to you or your child. We do not use advertising networks. We do not participate in behavioral advertising. We do not share any information with advertisers.
Our business model is simple: a low-cost monthly subscription. That is our only source of revenue from this app.
Because we do not collect personal information, we have nothing to share or sell. We do not share, sell, rent, or trade any information with third parties, including advertisers, marketers, data brokers, or analytics companies.
Even though we do not collect personal information, we take the security of the app itself seriously. TapTot is built using modern security practices and runs entirely within Apple's sandboxed app environment, which provides strong protections against unauthorized access.
All locally stored data (such as Tot Card information) is stored using Apple's secure storage APIs and is protected by your device's built-in security features.
Because we do not collect personal information, most data rights (such as the right to access or delete your data) do not apply โ there is no data for us to access or delete.
However, you always have the following rights:
California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). These include the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete personal information, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information.

Residents of the European Union and United Kingdom have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and UK GDPR. These include the right to access, correct, delete, and restrict the processing of personal data.

If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document and notify users through an in-app notice before the changes take effect. We will never change our core commitment: TapTot will always be ad-free and will never collect personal information from children without explicit, verifiable parental consent.
